Mission
Statement
"CAN"
works with
in The Churches of Christ to provide Christian Counselling to people
living with HIV/AIDS and to encourage our Churches to reach out and
evangelise them. We do training for counsellors, counselling and motivate
the sick members to work together and do several things that keeps them
busy and fetch them some income for their families and for the
sustainability of the organization.

Interested in
how this project started?
We
started as Church counseling ministry.
Our
mission at The Source can be summed up in the following three
statements:
1)
We provide affordable, quality local Education and Information
services access to Jinja, Busoga and
its surrounding community.
2)
We operate
-
To network
with all Churches sensitizing them of a need to reach out for
people living with AIDS and the related causes.
b. To network and join in partnership with related organization both local and foreign.
c. To fight poverty and joblessness by
economically empowering the members who are the infected
through projects.
d. To share ideas and experiences on
development,
sex education, AIDS information and other related topics
information and other related topics.

To equip the members with counseling skills so
as to help in the community- |
wide fight against HIV/AIDS and other sexually
transmitted diseases.
"God has enabled us to leave behind some few
foot marks, and indeed we are not yet there. We have dreams like
having a clinic where our HIV/AIDS + clients could come and get
