We propose to implement our program
through the mobilization of sponsors / Organizations, who will support an orphan
and widow with
$
25 per month to cater for the basic education needs, clothing, treatment, food,
shelter. And through grants and donations and local fundraisings, the entire
program can be implemented.
We are targeting two hundred
(200) widows and orphans in each district in Uganda if resources can allow.
The organization will determine
its performance through monitoring and evaluation appraisals
Youths are involved in such a
way that they form small groups that sensitize the local communities on AIDS/HIV
and also discuss ways/methods of HIV/AIDS prevention. They are also involved in
income generating activities.
Anticipated outcome
To remove the stigma in churches as well as in those infected with
HIV/AIDS
To eradicate poverty that is
created because of HIV/AIDS
People will develop self supportive
motives
People will gain skills that in
return will be their future career
Orphans will get basic education
To increase the life span of
HIV/AIDS patients
And Christ will be promoted as the
king In little more than a decade, we’ve learned a tremendous amount about
HIV/AIDS. As research and education continue, they can only mean continuing
progress in treatment, counseling, sensitization, prevention, progress that can
save and prolong the lives and give valid reasons for at least some optimism
about the devastating disease.
Identify and create awareness – together we can fight this,
support us to reach out to the communities.
